Timothy Howard
Founder and CEO, Hot on the Spot Catering Company, LLC
Tim has been a professional restaurateur in New Orleans for 20 years,
working with first-rate establishments such as Commander’s
Palace and Emeril's. As the popularity of New Orleans cuisine and
its chefs grew nationwide, Tim saw the potential demand for Cajun
cuisine outside of the Big Easy. Drawing on his continued experience
and strong base of contacts in the New Orleans restaurant, seafood
and catering industries, Hot on the Spot was founded in 1998.
Since its creation, Tim has covered events from coast to coast,
entertaining and catering a plethora of diverse functions, festivals
and galas. He has proven to be a hit not only throughout the United
States, but here in the Crescent City as well. By applying his expertise
in fine dining with his adoration for the manner in which New Orleans
can throw a party, he has satisfied the palates of event producers
and employees, tourists and travelers, as well as rock stars and
CEO’s.
Proud to state that he and HOTS have been associated with such a
fine list of companies and organizations, Tim has successfully grown
HOTS to cater events for clients such as Acura, NFL, Florida Power
& Light, ClearChannel Entertainment, Avis Car Rentals, Party
Planners West, Corporate Extensions, POW WOW, Westminster High School,
University of Texas, Canal Barge, Dixie Carriers and more! These
events have been set in some of our nations’ greatest cities,
such as Austin, Boston, Chicago, Detroit, Kansas City, Miami, New
Orleans, New York, Philadelphia, Phoenix, Providence, San Diego,
San Francisco, and Seattle.
Tim and the HOTS team look forward to covering even more territory
in order to share a taste of New Orleans with the rest of the country.
In addition, HOTS makes it easy for New Orleans natives to enjoy
the culinary delights of their own city by turning to Hot on the
Spot for their complete catering needs.
Jack Bossier
Jack, with Hot on the Spot Catering, has traveled, cooked and worked
parties from coast to coast and continent to continent, at resorts
from Martha’s Vineyard, Vail Colorado and Carmel, California.
As lead for the Acura Music Festival Tour, Jack has worked with
artists, musicians, celebrities and C.E.O.’s. alike. Catering
on an Ancient Mariner’s Society Wooden Sailboat on Monterey
Bay for sunset cruises and kelp bed tours, Jack was also stationed
in San Diego in the early 90’s for the Americas Cup operating
a charter vessel in the spectator fleet for all races. In the mid
90’s, after building and managing a bar and music venue in
the Gaslamp district in San Diego, Jack relocated back to his native
New Orleans and has been with Hot on the Spot since 2000.
Yvette LaPlace
The newest addition to the Hot on the Spot team, has been producing
and organizing events, parties (private and corporate), and festivals
for over 15 years, as well as working on international projects
in over 20 countries. After successfully generating over 200 events
world wide with clients such as IBM, T.D. Waterhouse, NFL, Festival
Productions,Inc, the Presidential Inaugural Committee, Production
Group International, the National Association of Television Executives
and Producers to name a few, she stepped in as Sales and Marketing
Consultant for the company while continuing her work as an independent
producer, consultant, travel director and transportation specialist.
