About the Spot
History: Hot on the Spot Catering (HOTS) was
founded in 1998 by veteran restaurateur Timothy Howard.
Management: HOTS Founder and Owner, Timothy Howard,
has been in the restaurant industry for 20 years. Howard honed his
trade at two of the most world-renowned restaurants in New Orleans
— Commander’s Palace and Emeril’s. Howard works
with a superior selection of chefs, matching individual expertise
with each event Cuisine: HOTS was the first
company to market New Orleans cuisine nationwide. HOTS offers an extensive
variety of international cuisine, yet specializes in New Orleans’
delicacies and seafood dishes. Hot on the Spot:
HOTS can throw any party, anywhere. With HOTS mobile catering solution,
companies who sponsor events in multiple locations across the country
can work with a single catering company. This saves significant time
and money that would be otherwise spent shopping around for different
catering companies, receiving and sorting through multiple proposals
and negotiating various contracts. Clients:
HOTS is entering its fourth year as the sole caterer to Acura for
the New Orleans Jazz and Heritage Festival and the multi-city Summer
Music Festival tour. HOTS has toured across America with well-known
musicians including Santana, Paul Simon, John Fogerty, the Neville
Brothers and Beach Boy Brian Wilson.
Additional HOTS clients include ClearChannel Entertainment, Party
Planners West, Avis Car Rental, Florida Power & Light, Corporate
Extensions, Planet Beach, Canal Barge and Dixie Carriers, among others.
HOTS Spots: HOTS has provided on location
catering for private parties, corporate events, festivals, conferences,
weddings, Mardi Gras parties and more… in cities from coast
to coast such as Austin, Boston, Chicago, Detroit, Kansas City, Miami,
New Orleans, New York, Philadelphia, Phoenix, Providence, San Diego,
